How to play Career Path
Guess the footballer from their club career. This daily transfer quiz shows a timeline of clubs and dates, so the answer depends on recognizing a journey rather than identifying a face or shirt.
- Identify the footballer from their club timeline in five guesses.
- Read the clubs and dates from earliest to latest. Search a player name and choose a suggestion to guess.
- Keyboard: use Up and Down arrows to highlight a suggestion, then Enter to submit it. Escape closes suggestions.
- Reserve teams appear under their own club names. Junior academy teams are omitted.
- Each missed guess reveals a clue: position, nationality, age, then the surname initial.
- Give up ends the puzzle and reveals the player.
Example round
A career featuring Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus suggests Cristiano Ronaldo. In the real puzzle, check the dates and every club before submitting: familiar transfers are useful clues, but several players can share part of a route.
