About Shotle
Shotle is a free collection of football quizzes and games built and maintained by chko games. It brings daily challenges and repeatable arcade games together in one place, with no account needed to play.
Football knowledge, one puzzle at a time
Shotle is built around the details football fans remember: a surprising transfer, a familiar surname, a shared club or a record at the top of a ranking. The aim is to turn those details into games you can fit into a short break and compare with friends.
Different modes ask you to use that knowledge in different ways. Career Path reveals a club journey, Playerdle lets you narrow down an answer through clues, and Football Trail lets you find your own route between two players. Daily Arena offers a shared challenge for a selected date; the Arcade gives you room to keep experimenting.
How the challenges are put together
Daily puzzles are selected from game-specific collections of players, clubs and questions. Each mode has rules for eligible answers, and the daily schedule controls which challenge appears on a given matchday. The project includes checks for puzzle validity, answer eligibility and repeated selections.
The instructions on each game explain what counts as a valid answer. Career games, club-name puzzles and rankings use different conventions, so a familiar football fact may need to be read in the context of that particular game. Recorded clubs, ages, rankings and market values reflect the game’s data and may differ from a newer update elsewhere.
Corrections and feedback
A puzzle should be challenging because of its football question. If a clue is unclear, a player is missing or an answer seems incorrect, please tell us so it can be checked against the game’s rules and the relevant record.
Use Report data issue on a game page, or email the address below with the game name, puzzle date, disputed clue or answer, and a reference if you have one. You can also send suggestions or report a technical problem. For loading or display problems, include your browser and device type.
