How to play Football Player Bingo
Place familiar footballers on a card of club, country, position, height, birth-decade, league, trophy and teammate clues. Choose free play or a timed game with 15 seconds per player. Each player gets one placement, so choosing where to use versatile players is part of the challenge.
- Fill all 16 squares on the daily 4×4 card. Complete rows, columns and either long diagonal to earn Bingos along the way.
- Everyone receives the same 45 players in the same order: 35 fit at least one square on the original card and 10 fit nowhere.
- Tap an empty square to place the current player immediately. Each player can fill only one square. Both correct and incorrect placement attempts count towards the limit of 35 played players. Wrong selections flash red for half a second and play an error sound when sound is enabled.
- You have 10 skips. A skip advances to the next player without increasing the played count. A player whose matching squares are already filled may need to be skipped.
- Choose Start game, then Timed game or Free play. Timed games allow 15 seconds per player. A timeout uses one of your 10 skips without increasing the played count; once no skips remain, it counts as a played attempt. The timer pauses while a popup is open or the tab is hidden.
- The game ends at 35 played attempts, after all 45 players, when you fill the card, or when you choose Finish card. There are no lives.
- Clubs and leagues count historical senior spells and loans. Teammates use overlapping club-career years, or the same nationality with overlapping senior-career years; this is a year-based quiz approximation.
- Club trophy winners use membership of the winning club in that title year, including European Cup and UEFA Cup predecessors. International trophies use the winning tournament squad. Heights and birth decades use recorded data.
- Progress is saved in this browser. After finishing, review every player’s matching squares and one possible full-card solution, or replay for practice. Your first daily result stays saved.
Example round
A French midfielder who played for two featured clubs could fit several squares. Save flexible squares for later when you can, and skip players who fit nowhere. Completing a row earns a Bingo; filling all sixteen squares earns a full house.
Tips for Football Player Bingo
- Tap an empty square to place the current player immediately.
- Every placement attempt uses a player, including a wrong answer. Skipping uses one of ten skips instead.
- At least two of the day’s players fit each square, and every card has a complete solution.
